Mrs. Martinez-Gaeta concentrates her practice on Personal Injury and Civil Litigation.
She handles a wide variety of complex civil matters, at all times focusing on her
clients wishes, whether that be collecting damages as a form of monetary relief
or seeking alternate forms of court relief, such as partitions, declaratory actions,
enforcement or specific performance actions and/or matters seeking emergent restraints.
While managing the firms former Public Defender Position, for the township of Passaic,
she gained immeasurable experience in municipal court practice. As such, her municipal
court practice is extensive, and she handles a vast array of matters including but
not limited to: Driving While Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance,
Domestic Violence, and all areas of Suspension and Revocation of Driving Privileges
and/or Commercial Endorsements.
Prior to joining Bastarrika, Guzman, Soto & Gonzalez, LLP, Mrs. Gaeta served as
Judicial Law Clerk in Passaic County to the Honorable Nestor F. Guzman, Sr., Judge
of the Superior Court, while he presided over the Family Division and as he transitioned
to the Criminal Division where he sits now.
While in Law School Mrs. Martinez-Gaeta interned for the Honorable E. Benn Micheletti,
Judge of the Superior Court, Family Division, Monmouth County. She was a member
of the Moot Court Honor Society; she was chosen to participate in the Immigration
Law Clinic and Family Law Clinic; and, she was an Oralist and placed Third in 2003
Lanfan Competition.
Mrs. Martinez-Gaeta is married and a proud new mother.
