David Ventoso, Esq.

David Ventoso is a litigation associate at Bastarrika, Soto, Gonzalez & Somohano, LLP, where he represents individuals and businesses throughout New Jersey. He handles matters at every stage, from pre-suit negotiation and discovery through motion practice, trial and appeal. He appears in the Law Division, the Chancery Division and the Special Civil Part of the Superior Court, as well as in municipal court and before the Appellate Division.

David's practice covers personal injury, commercial and business disputes (including disputes between business partners and LLC members), insurance claims, landlord-tenant and collection matters, and estate litigation. He is known for preparing thoroughly and staying in close contact with clients, and he works to resolve cases efficiently while staying ready to try them when that's what the client needs.

David earned his J.D. from New York Law School and his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is fluent in Spanish and represents many of the firm's Spanish-speaking clients in their own language.
